“La maîtrise du feu” is a Walloon awareness campaign for an optimal use of its wood heating thanks to the use of useful and concrete advice. To be economical, healthy and environmentally friendly, heating with wood must be implemented under good conditions: choice of the equipment, wood selection, regular chimney maintenance.
The double objectives is to increase the efficiency of combustion & reduce emissions of fine particles and other air pollutants.
Through more than twenty tips, the "Fire Control" campaign shows that to be economical, healthy and ecological, wood heating must be implemented in good conditions!
Choice of equipment, selection of wood, household power, maintenance... These conditions will allow you to reduce emissions of fine particulate matter and other air pollutants, but also to increase the efficiency of your combustion
The goals of Fire Control
- Increase the efficiency of combustion;
- Reducing emissions of fine particulate matter and other air pollutants;
- Improve user comfort.
Par plus d’une vingtaine de conseils, la campagne « La Maîtrise du feu » montre que pour être économique, sain et écologique, le chauffage au bois doit être mis en œuvre dans de bonnes conditions !
Choix du matériel, sélection du bois, alimentation du foyer, entretien… Ces conditions vous permettront de réduire les émissions de particules fines et autres polluants atmosphériques, mais aussi d’augmenter l’efficacité de votre combustion.
